The Blendtec Designer Series Kitchen Blender

My family had made a purchase last year on a blender that was on sale. We bought the Blendtec Designer Series kitchen blender. I didn’t think much of it because who does, after all it’s just a blender. However, after putting this thing to good use for juices, smoothies, cutting up vegetables (etc.) I’ve came to the realization that a blender is one of the most versatile appliances you can have in your kitchen.
When looking for an appropriate blender there are three key categories for evaluation: performance, features and design. The performance of this blender is outstanding. It has the power to blend any type of ingredient in large quantities. This blender includes a commercial-grade motor. This motor provides up to 1,560 watts of power, making it one of the most powerful blenders out there. With power this strong it makes work in the kitchen much more effective and efficient.
Next up are features. This blender features a variety of options to help you create the perfect concoction. You can choose from batters, crushed ice, smoothie, ice cream, whole juice and soups. These options are displayed on the device by icons to help you choose the perfect setting quickly and without any hesitation. This makes the product easy to use, which is very important to the consumer. I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone complain about the simplicity of a product.
Last up is the design. The design of the Blendtec Designer Series kitchen blender is flawless (to my standard at least). It’s not bulky at all. The noise level of this powerful blender is low and there are much less vibrations than any other blender I’ve had in the past. To add to that, the motor base of this kitchen blender is flat and sealed, so if a spill does happen to occur, you can simply wipe the device. There is no need to clean between the buttons, which is a huge plus. This became a pain to me when having to deal with it for every single other blender I’ve encountered.
Overall, I think the Blendtec Designer Series kitchen blender has everything you need. It has never failed to complete a task for me in the kitchen. It’s reliable and available in a variety of colors allowing you to best match your kitchen décor. I would highly recommend this product!

  1. A big part of this blender's power is the design of the blades themselves. Most blender blades are flat or raised linearly from the base to have a more diagonal look. The Blendtec blender is situated in an L-shape, which allows for more material to be caught in the blades from higher up in the pitcher and act as a quality blunt force tool in breaking down whatever larger pieces may have been added.

  2. I like reading about good design. This one is nice for a variety of reasons, but one that immediately struck me is that it's quite nice looking, and would fit right in on most kitchen counters. To be honest, blenders are kind of bulky so I'd assume that one that is used every day would be appreciated if it matched the kitchen. This one reminds me of the kind they have at starbucks.

  3. Blendtec rules. I love having custom settings like smoothie, ice cream, etc, so this would be so up my alley. I had a Hamilton Beach old school blender but that didn't really blend, lol.

  4. I've never owned a Blendtec but I have known about the brand for a long time. The company made a variety of YouTube videos years ago, showing just how powerful the blender is by blending a variety of ridiculous objects, including a FREAKING GOLF CLUB. So even though I have no idea how this product works at fulfilling its true function (grinding food and not sports paraphernalia) I'm guessing it's pretty good based purely off its power.
The only thing I don't like about these blenders is the price tag: $380 for the cheapest option. However this may be a reasonable price for a blender of this quality. I simply don't know enough about Blendtec's competitors to make a sound conclusion in that regard.
